On the way to the hotel, I picked up a Suica-card. Suica is short for “Super Urban Intelligent CArd”, but is is really just an RFID-based card that is charged with cash and then used in the Metro, in stores, kiosks, vending machines and so on. Handy. Intelligent. Ah, alright, Super Urban, too… (Thanks to @Sabsay for all the valuable Tokyo tips, including this!)
